Dinner at Mahal Beach Club in Kalkan - A Romantic Evening by the Sea

If you’re visiting Kalkan, Turkey, and looking for a romantic dinner spot with a great view and fresh seafood, Mahal Beach Club is worth a visit. Located along the coast, the beach club isn’t just for daytime lounging—it’s also a solid choice for dinner, especially if you’re into seafood and live music.

We visited on a Sunday evening in October, arriving around 6:30 PM, just in time for the sunset. The sky was clear, and watching the sun set over the Mediterranean was a nice way to start the evening. One of the highlights is their water taxi service from Kalkan Harbour, which adds a bit of novelty to the experience.

The menu is excellent, offering a three-course meal with prices between £15-£20 per dish. Their seafood selection is the standout, and the seafood linguine came highly recommended. The pasta was flavorful, and the seafood tasted fresh. The calamari starter was also a good choice—it was tender and clearly freshly caught.

For those who enjoy live music, Mahal hosts performances on Thursday nights from 8 PM. The music adds to the romantic, laid-back vibe of the place without being over the top.
